Fire Fighting, Law Enforcement & Corrections
Fire Fighting
Fire Fighting, one of the most dangerous public professions, is always in need of new tools to manage fire situations. Keeping track of Fire Fighters at a chaotic fire scene is often a very tough job for Fire Commanders. The BubblAR system will allows the real-time physical location of all Fire Fights in a simple and graphic visual methodology. The movements of each Fire Fighter, both inside and outside of a fire scene can be shown via a Smart Phone, Tablet, Computer Screen or AR Glasses. All movements of the Fire Fighters can not only be tracked in real-time, but the entire scenario can be recorded in visual detail for later review. No more lost Firemen deep within a structure. Commanders can easily coordinate fire team members actions and locations to make best use of the available manpower.

Law Enforcement
Law Enforcement, including Police, Sheriffs, State Troopers, Departments of Public Safety, etc., are always on the frontline of protecting and serving the public. In recent years these 1st Responders have ben called on more and more to control situations of civil unrest.
In these chaotic situations it is important, now more than ever, to make sure our 1st responders have a team coordination and individual accountability for their actions. The BubblAR City Initiative is designed to provide both coordination and individual accountability to officers caught up in the throes of fast moving and often violent situations. By being able to show both group and individual actions in after-action accountability reviews the BCI will lower civil liabilities and provide learning experiences.

Additional Law Enforcement Capabilities:
Evidence Accountability
One of the long-term burdens of Law Enforcement is the requirement to store and inventory “Evidence” from current and past cases. The amount of inventory is often a major reason for the mis-handling and loss of crucial evidence in Evidence Storage facilities within Law Enforcement facilities. The BubblAR system, with its visual inventory system can quickly locate any single or multiple pieces of evidence with the simple addition of an inexpensive ALTag to each evidence box. No more losing evidence due to it being sorted, relocated or moved. The BubblAR system visual location and accountability system will bring any Evidence Room into the 21st century.

Asset Recovery
A new revolution in “Asset Recovery” will happen when manufacturers, insurance companies, and even retail or online stores start to incorporate ALTags into products they sell or insure. By having an ALTag as part of a product, the product can be tracked when the owner reports the product has been stolen. An entire Asset Recovery Business will probably emerge from ALTags being integrated into high value products. ALTags can be placed into anything from personal and home electronics to bicycles to autos and motorcycles. Law Enforcement officers and/or commercial “Asset Recovery Agents” working for insurance companies can use simple BubblAR software tuned to locate specific ALTag “Stolen Registry” numbers. By driving through neighborhoods with ALTag scanners the stolen merchandise, once reported and added to the “Stolen Registry”, can’t be hidden and will be detected via over-sized “Stolen Bubbles” that will hover over buildings housing the merchandise and the products can then be legally recovered by Law Enforcement. Image stolen cars having “Stolen Vehicle Bubbles” hovering over them as they ride down city streets or the highway – visible only to police or Asset Recovery Agents. This will be a revolution in Asset Recovery and BubblAR could become a standard part of auto and property insurance programs.
Correctional Institutions
The BubblAR system has many uses as a tracking, identification and location system in Prisons and other correctional institutions. The BubblAR system can have widespread use in the federal prison systems of all countries, as well as at all levels of short term and long-term incarceration within the Jail and prison systems of local, county and state run institutions – both government run and privately run institutions. The ability to track and record all personnel and inmate movements can be an invaluable training, operational and maintenance aid in the running of any penal institution. With the increase in public and privately run penal institutions, the need for both better management and oversight is a critical issue related to their funding.

The ability to have a visual tracking system covering all areas inside and outside the penal facility via the use of beacons – that has a number and color code for each inmate’s signal in the system with differentiators by cell location, job assignment, danger level and gang affiliation can provide valuable real time intelligence on possible dangerous situations within the facility. The ability to track the movements of security personnel and their interactions with inmates can identify and possibly deter the flow of contraband within a facility.
The use of the “lock-on” and “lock-off” system of attachment of the ALTag wristbands to all facility personnel, visitors, and the permanently secured attachment of ALTag units to all inmates will place everyone on notice that their activities, gatherings and actions are the subject of continuous monitoring and recording – both within the memory system of the facility Database, but also at an off-site monitoring / recording facility and secure Cloud based Database. This secondary level of oversight can provide a buffer against “at-facility” collusion between staff and inmates to facilitate and hide illegal or unauthorized activities within the penal facility. This double secure oversight can be easily programmed, via custom algorithms, to search for any differences in the two records and bring the discrepancies to the attention of the Correctional system upper management.
The Database information on the entire facility can also be reviewed on a daily basis via specially programmed algorithms that can look for patterns outside normal facility operational parameters, as well as inmate-guard interactions that look suspiciously like some sort of non-standard interaction is happening. The program can look for multiple meetings, pass-by encounters and other minor interactions between specific inmates, maintenance personnel and/or specific guards which might indicate some sort of illicit activity or communications. The real time facility system will also look at the location of every person within the facility at any time when their specific locations must match a pre-set location. Any aberrations to any person’s schedule – guard, inmate or management – will not just be noted, but an alarm can be broadcast if the situation seems to be of a critical nature – i.e.: an inmate missing a specific activity, missing a cell check-in, or an inmate, guard or management person is at a location that might indicate possible dangerous, inappropriate or criminal activity. The use of the BubblAR system can optimize penal institution operations, cut down or eliminate criminal activity and provide a clear understanding of the internal personnel movements which are at the heart of the facility’s operation.
